<\/div><\/div><\/div>Moustiers-Sainte-Marie and Esparron-de-Verdon<\/h2>\n\tDuring your visit, stop at Moustiers-Sainte-Marie, classified one of the most beautiful village of France<\/strong> and located next to the Lake of Sainte-Croix<\/strong>. Nestled against a rocky escarpment, this village is often compared to a crib with its star suspended in the void hanging on a chain since the thirteenth century and stretched between two rocky peaks. <\/p>\nFallen at least 11 times over the centuries, the star was always replaced by its inhabitants. Moustier-Sainte-Marie is also its famous earthenware<\/strong> displayed in many stores of the village, the opportunity to bring back a typical and expensive souvenir or to visit its earthenware museum founded in 1930.<\/p>\n40 km from the campsite, and still in the Gorges, discover also Esparron-de-Verdon<\/strong> and its lake of the same name, crossed by the GR4 hiking trail and set in 2015 of the TV series “Les Myst\u00e8res du Lac”. Stroll through the narrow streets of the village, enjoy its 13th century castle<\/strong> and its picturesque old houses.
